About The Whimsical Cookie Started in spring 2022 The Whimsical Cookie began as cottage bakery after Amanda's middle son's interest in creating royal icing cookies. What began has a little hobby rapidly grew into a full time cottage bakery. In February 2025 The Whimsical Cookie transitioned from a cottage bakery to a commercial kitchen and cookie studio in New Albany. The Whimsical Cookie provides custom royal icing cookies, cookie decorating classes and workshops, corporate logo cookies and other baking related workshops. Amanda is the cookie artist behind The Whimsical Cookie who creates luxury boutique style custom cookies and treats. My passion is to help your celebration stand out not only with gorgeous treats, but delicious treats. I do this by sourcing high-quality ingredients, specialty packaging and creating modern creative designs. As a small business, she prides herself on attention to detail and commitment to quality and personalized customer service.
